Vizzia’s Internet of Things (IoT) Lab
The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) Revolution
Major advances in new wireless technologies and medical equipment manufacturing are driving innovation in healthcare. An increasing number of Internet-connected medical devices are able to generate and transmit data accurately.
The data, along with the devices themselves, are creating the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) – a connected ecosystem of equipment, software applications and related services.
Wireless connectivity between sensors and devices is enabling healthcare organizations to streamline their clinical operations and workflow management, while improving patientcare.
Vizzia Internet of Things (IoT) Laboratory
Meet Vizzia’s IoT Lab
The Vizzia Technologies Internet of Things (IoT) Laboratory is a unique facet of our business model. It serves as an objective testing ground to independently evaluate emerging sensor technologies.
We test the latest Indoor Positioning Systems (IPS) against best-in-class clinical grade wireless technologies for the healthcare industry. It is essential to understand the complex behavior of different solutions and their performance metrics in a healthcare environment.
Over the years, Vizzia has tested a wide variety of technologies from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). These manufacturers Include private and publicly-traded companies from the United States and Internationally.
The Vizzia IoT Lab is a member of RAIN RFID, a global alliance promoting the universal adoption of UHF RFID technology, a wireless technology that connects billions of everyday items to the IoT, enabling businesses to identify, locate, authenticate and engage assets.
