Andrew L. Halasz
Chief Executive Officer
Andrew Halasz co-founded Vizzia in 2005. He is a dynamic business leader who has been driving results for more than 30 years in a variety of functional and business leadership roles across industries for public and private companies.
Mr. Halasz was Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer of Recall Corporation, a global document management company acquired by Iron Mountain (NYSE:IRM). He grew his business acumen at General Electric (NYSE:GE) where he held numerous leadership positions including Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Sheila L. Bailey, MBA
Chief Financial Officer
Sheila Bailey has more than 20 years of financial and operational leadership for high growth technology companies. She served as Vice President of Finance for Luma, a Wi-Fi solutions startup. Luma raised $22M from Amazon, Google and Andreessen Horowitz, and was acquired by Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL); a Fortune 500 company.
Ms. Bailey was Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Finance for Rubicon Global, a venture-backed technology company. Rubicon raised $296M, investors included executives at Salesforce, Uber and Goldman Sachs. Additionally, she has held several financial leadership positions at Gypsum Management & Supply, leading up to its $147M IPO (NYSE:GMS).
Sheila received her MBA degree from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science from Emory University. She also studied at Harvard University and the University of London.
David R. Wiedman
Chief Commercial Officer
Dave Wiedman brings over 30 years of executive management experience in the technology industry (scanning, tracking, RFID) with a strong background in strategic business development and a proven track record in driving revenue growth and customer retention. Healthcare clients include: Catholic Health, Jefferson Health and Kaiser Permanente.
Mr. Wiedman was President & Chief Operating Officer of Lexicon Technologies, VP of Business Development for ChannelMax and Connect Inc. and Co-founder of AccuScan Inc. AccuScan was acquired by Peak Technologies (NASDAQ: PEAK).
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Tampa. He is a Board of Director of the Georgia Biomedical Instrumentation Society (GBIS).
James C. Forbes
Chief Strategy Officer
Jim Forbes is a senior technology executive with proven leadership in creating and operationally implementing corporate strategy for high-growth companies. He initially served on the Vizzia Board of Advisors, consulting on corporate development initiatives.
Mr. Forbes was Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of NS8 Corp. (OTCBB: NSEO) a software development company, Corporate Vice President of Equant NV (NYSE: ENT) a global data company acquired by France Telecom and a Board member of iBAHN Corp., an Internet service provider (backed by Intel Capital).
Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Georgia. He is a Board member of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and the Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance (GIPA).
Howard R. Hatcher
Chief Technology Officer
Howard Hatcher joined Vizzia in 2009. He brings more than 35 years of experience in all areas of information technologies, with particular specialization in health care remote sensing solutions, global software development and IT consulting in a variety of industries.
Mr Hatcher has held a progressive series of IT leadership positions at: Compris Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of NCR Corp. (NYSE: NCR); Matria Healthcare (NASDAQ: MATR) a leading provider of integrated health programs acquired by Inverness Medical Innovations (AMEX: IMA); and ClientLink, an IT services company acquired by CompuCom Systems (NASDAQ: CMPC).
Ronald T. Borden
Head of Operations
Ron Borden has 25 years of technology and field management experience, to include Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) applications. Ron served on U.S. Joint Commission teams and multiple technology advisory boards. Most Recently, Ron designed, developed, and successfully launched a health care exchange; earning numerous industry awards and accolades.
Ron served in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, where he led a team that created an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) database. This project later received $40 million in Congressional funding and evolved into the Tri-Service EMR, which the military uses today. He received a Cyber Security degree from Liberty University in Virginia.

Prior to Wyndham, Mr. Holmes served in various leadership positions in the hospitality and financial services industries, including Vice Chairman of Cendant Corp. (NYSE: CD), EVP & CFO of HFS Inc. (NYSE: HFS) and managing director of private equity firm The Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX). He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte.

Paul F. McBride is a former Executive Vice President of Black & Decker Corporation (NYSE: BDK) a $6 billion global manufacturer and marketer of power tools and accessories.
Prior to joining Black & Decker, Mr. McBride spent 21 years at General Electric (NYSE:GE). He was a company officer and served as President of GE’s global silicones business, a unit of GE Plastics. Mr. McBride is a member of several boards of directors, including the boards of T. Rowe Price Mutual Funds, Dunbar Armored Inc. and the Living Classrooms Foundation.
